Castello Is

I contribute to frontend development for the online ordering platform of Castello (castello.is), a Icelandic destination for classic pizzas and hearty comfort food. Built within our shared, scalable monorepo architecture, I utilized Next.js and Tailwind CSS to engineer a seamless and fast takeaway experience. A major focus was designing an intuitive user interface that makes it incredibly easy for users to navigate large family deals, customize classic pizzas, and add comfort-food sides. To drive revenue and optimize the checkout experience, I integrated our proprietary upsell-kit library, dynamically suggesting popular pairings like garlic bread, extra sauces, or larger drinks before the user completes their order.
