Find IT 2021

Find IT 2021 was a national IT competition in Indonesia — a multi-day event spanning hackathons, data-analytics challenges, and tech webinars — and I both designed and built the official event platform. It was a high-pressure build: the site had to hold up under more than 10,000 simultaneous users during peak event hours, and it had to be ready on the event date, not after.

I wore both hats on this one. As the designer, I worked out the UX in Figma and created custom 3D assets in Blender to give the portal a distinctive, engaging identity rather than a generic event-template look.

How it's built

• Frontend — Next.js, chosen for the performance and reliability a high-traffic event portal needs.
• Backend — Firebase and Express.js supporting the frontend.
• The platform tied together competition logistics: event information, challenge tracks, webinars, and coordination with the organizing teams.

The real test was peak load. By working closely with the cross-functional organizing team to align the technical deliverables with the event's logistics, we kept the platform stable through the busiest windows when over 10,000 users were on it at once.
